Andrew Lea Joins as Chief Insurance Officer

We are pleased to welcome Andrew (Andy) Lea as our new Chief Insurance Officer (CIO). With over two decades of insurance industry experience, Andy brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to Embroker. His impressive career includes roles at industry giants such as Marsh USA, Swiss Re, AIG, and CNA. Most recently, Andy served as the Chief Underwriting Officer at Vantage Risk.

Andy’s experience in successfully launching and operating underwriting platforms for various insurance products, including Cyber, Tech E&O, and professional liability coverage programs, aligns perfectly with Embroker’s innovative approach. His deep understanding of the insurance landscape, combined with a focus on technological disruption and experience with global insurance markets, makes him an ideal fit for our team.

Kristy Malm Promoted to Chief Operating Officer

We are equally thrilled to announce the promotion of Kristy Malm to Chief Operating Officer (COO). Kristy, who previously served as VP of Operations at Embroker, has been a driving force behind our operational excellence, efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives.

In her new role as COO, Kristy will focus on overall customer strategy, driving organizational excellence, and leading our customer success organization. Her deep expertise in streamlining operations and commitment to providing exceptional customer experiences will be crucial as we continue to identify and invest in areas where Embroker can provide industry-best customer support.
