Bilt Rewards Adds New Features for Students
Bilt Rewards today announced a significant expansion of its network of homes to include student housing properties, with American Campus Communities (ACC) as its launch partner. Additionally, Bilt is now allowing members to redeem their Bilt Points toward eligible student loan payments. These new additions come just days after Bilt added Japan Airlines as its latest transfer partner.
Bringing Rewards to Campus
This new partnership with ACC will enable students aged 18 and older to earn rewards on their student housing payments. The collaboration will begin in late May with Baylor University (U Pointe on Speight and The Union properties), with plans to expand to the broader ACC portfolio, serving nearly 140,000 students, in the coming months.
New Student Loan Payment Redemption Option
As part of this expansion into the student market, Bilt is also introducing a feature that gives members the option to redeem their Bilt Points toward eligible student loan payments.
Bilt Members can apply their Bilt Points to one of their largest monthly expenses, with 1,000 Bilt Points equaling $10 in redemption value on eligible student loan payments. That’s a decent value of 1 cent per point, but you can still get better value by transferring to travel partners.
Starting today, Bilt Members can redeem Bilt Points on student loans serviced by Nelnet®, MOHELA®, Sallie Mae®, Aidvantage®, and Navient®—with additional servicers becoming available throughout the coming months.
