Whether you’re an expert or simply just love watching four-wheeled content, there are a host of car YouTubers who post weekly videos for you to enjoy.

Here we take a look at some of the best car channels on YouTube to watch.

Mat Armstrong

Starting off as a BMX channel, Mat Armstrong has become one of the biggest UK car channels on YouTube with millions of subscribers desperately waiting for his next video. From driving some of the world’s best cars to buying cheap vehicles and modding them, Armstrong has been a mainstay on the platform for nearly a decade.

If the name sounds familiar, it’s because you may have seen it in the news when he rebuilt Manchester United and England star Marcus Rashford’s Rolls Royce after he had an accident in 2023.

Brett Barnes

Brett has been creating content on YouTube for nearly a decade now, with his lighthearted videos around improving a car’s performance and modifying his Audi A5 to sound like a Nissan GTR.

But perhaps his most popular series of videos was finding an abandoned BMW E36 before completely rebuilding it from scratch to make it road legal. You can watch all his trials and tribulations in this series and how he overcame numerous setbacks to get his dream car on the road.

Jack McNeill

Jack McNeill’s channel is more of a car lifestyle channel, where he often sets himself road trip challenges, a la Top Gear in its heyday with Richard Hammond, Jeremy Clarkson and James May.

A perfect example of this is when he took on the unenviable task of a 2,500-mile road trip in a banged-up Nissan Micra around Europe.

Saving Salvage

This channel is perfect at showing tips for buying vehicles on a budget and teaching you how to restore them safely and cheaply, whether you want to drive the car yourself or sell it on for a profit.

Saving Salvage is also not afraid of showing you the downside to buying cars online either, one of his most popular videos is revealing how he was scammed when buying a Volkswagen T-Roc R and points out how you can protect yourself when purchasing in a similar manner.

Grace Autos

Grace Autos is a fairly new YouTube channel, but she’s already amassed a cult following thanks to her videos such as a track day with Santa Pod – where she drove Europe’s fastest Lamborghini – and driving around the infamous Donington Park.

The Other Stuff

The Other Stuff is a car channel looking at every aspect of driving. He’s recorded his journey from passing his driving test and taking his first trip to school, all the way through to playing car football at the Adrian Flux Arena.

The channel looks at everything you need to know about cars and driving, from a driving point of view to installing touch screens and reversing cameras in older vehicles.

Chloe Blackwell

Chloe’s channel focuses more on modifying cars, namely her BMW E46 and more recently her Audi A1. She details the must-have accessories for any vehicle and shows you the changes she makes step-by-step.

Adam LZ

Adam LZ is perhaps the most well-known YouTuber on this list. His social channels are full of modified cars and extreme sports, whether he is riding around in his 2015 Mini Cooper S (Full bolt on), 2008 BMW 335i Single Turbo, 1995 Mazda Miata, 1989 Nissan 240SX (Built SR20DET), 1992 “Sil80” Nissan 240SX (1JZ VVTI), 2017 Mustang GT350, 2017 F250 Powerstroke or his 1999 Nissan Silvia Project (S15).

His millions of YouTube subscribers and his hundreds of thousands of Instagram and X followers are accustomed to seeing him and his wife going on adventures in his sports cars, show cars and American vehicles.

Gingium

If you’re into modified cars and are looking to modify your own vehicle then Gingium is a great channel to watch.

His videos range from beginner’s guides to the more complex processes of building and modifying cars. What makes his YouTube channel even greater is that he doesn’t stick to just one type of car. He mods an array of vehicles from vans to wide-bodied cars. Basically, if it has a steering wheel Gingium will do his best to improve it.

Shmee150

Shmee150 may be better known for his travel vlogs featuring some of the world’s most glamorous cars like his McLaren 675LT Spider, Aston Martin Vantage GT8, Mercedes-AMG GT R and Porsche 911 GT3. However, he also varies his content to include modifications to his collection.

If you’re looking for a YouTuber who you can live vicariously through, then Shmee150 is the one for you. While you may not be able to afford his expensive cars, you can certainly sit back, relax and enjoy the ride.
